We start the tour from the red city and its exuberant medina diving into every corner of it, and we carry on discovering the fabulous
Day 1: Marrakech
as you arrive at Marrakech airport, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel, depend on the time of your arrival you may have the chance to enjoy the remainder of the day and make your first contact with the red city – Marrakech – why not head to the medina and discover the delights of Djemaa el Fna, the enthusiastic marketplace.
Day 2: Marrakech – Ait ben hadou – Gorge Dades
Leaving Marrakech to start our adventure across the great High Atlas Mountains. And Over the pass of Tizi n Tichka, enjoying the great views of valleys and the Kasbahs until we arrive to Ait Benhaddou. This incredible ancient Kasbah was built for defense purposes high on a hill and is a stunningly well-preserved medieval city, which has famously featured in many epic movies, including Gladiator and Laurence of Arabia, as its beauty is unequal to any other Kasbah in south Morocco. And we finish our day in the gorges of Dades
Day 3: Gorge Dades – Gorge Todra –Erg Chebbi
We start our day with a drive towards the magnificent gorges of todra; this Trench through the High Atlas presents an arresting spectacle, after time to explore the todra gorge, we drive towards another adventure, towards the golden desert of Merzouga, The Erg Chebbi dunes one of the great sights of Morocco and the most exciting adventures, the first night we’ll have rest at the hotel.
Day 4: Erg Chebbi – Khamlia – Rissani –Camel trekking
After the breakfast, we start our day with a drive around the town of Merzouga discovering interesting places like the little village of khamlia and enjoy the Gnawa music after that we head to Rissani and walk in its great traditional souk (market) and by afternoon we back at the hotel where the camels will be waiting for us to take us into a sweet ride inside the dunes to experience the nomad life in “khaimas” tents, we enjoy the sunset and the music and sleeps down the light of the moon and the stars
Day 5: Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) – Fes
Waking up early to enjoy the sunrise then we climb back on our camels to head back the hotel. After freshening up and breakfast, we are back on the road heading for Fes. It is a long drive; however, there is a lot to enjoy along the way driving through the great valley of ziz and making a stop into the cedar forests, full of Barbary Macaque monkeys on our way through the middle Atlas Mountains. Just before Fes. We arrive into Fes in the early evening.
Day 6: Fes
After breakfast, you will begin our guided tour of the medina, one of the world’s largest walled in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects and artisanal work of Morocco. A visit to the King’s Palace, the tanneries, and potters are just a few places we will experience. For lunch, you will eat in a traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. After lunch, you will complete the tour. After that, we will come back to the hotel for dinner and get some rest to carry on with our tour the next day.
Day 7: Volubilis – Rabat
After breakfast, we hit the road leaving Fes towards the capital of Morocco Rabat, but before getting there, we make sure not to skip the chance of visiting the fascinating UNESCO listed Roman ruins of Volubilis, Volubilis, is one of Morocco’s best-preserved Roman ruins located between the Imperial Cities of Fez and Meknes, After lunch and some free time, our final stop of the day is Rabat where we will spend the night.
Day 8: Rabat – Marrakech
In the morning, we get the chance to visit some of the most interesting places in Rabat, starting with the Hassan tour and the Kasbah of udaya and after lunch and some break time, we carry on toward the red city of Marrakech.
Day 9: Marrakech airport
Our tour ends by heading back to the airport
